How to change Lincoln’s appearance

You can’t. At least when it comes to his facial features. Lincoln’s face has a set look that cannot be changed. His haircut and outfit will change several times during the story, but you won’t be able to influence those changes.

How to change character outfits

This feature wasn’t planned, so it won’t be present at launch. There will be several points in the game when Lincoln changes his clothes, but you won’t have a say in what he wears. For a while, you’ll be stuck with his army green jacket, or whatever the devs felt was appropriate.
However, since fans have been pretty vocal about character customization, 2K have announced they’ll be adding the option post-launch. They’re going to release a free DLC pack with different outfits and costumes, as well as the ability to switch them at will. In short – you’ll have to wait if you want Lincoln to wear a suit and tie.
There’s no word on a release date yet, but it’s probably going to happen during the first month. Most importantly, it’s going to be free.
Weapon Customization in Mafia 3 allows for some basic firearms upgrades. Firearms Customization General Info

  1. You can carry up to two different weapons.
  2. There are five type of firearms: Shotguns, Handguns, Automatic Weapons, Rifles and Special Weapons.
  3. All firearms except special weapons and shotguns have four upgrades. You can upgrade their ammo capacity, stability, reload speed and accuracy (shotguns don’t have this upgrade).
  4. These upgrades can be improved three times. They don’t only cost money, but also have special requirements. You have to raise Cassandra’s earnings to a certain level to be able to buy upgrades. Cassandra is one of Lincoln’s associates.
  5. Once you buy a certain weapon upgrade, it can be used on any future weapon from the same category. Upgrades are not only for the weapon you are using currently, they are for all the future ones in the same category.
  6. You can buy and upgrade all of these through a basic arms dealer provided by Cassandra’s first perk – Arms Dealer. Shortly after you activate this perk, a van with the firearms arrives and you can trade.
  7. As part of the preorder bonus you get three weapons: the Trench 1938 Submachine gun, the Camo Sniper rifle and the Gator Shotgun.
  8. Thirty days after the game launches, everyone will get the “Judge, Jury and Executioner” golden weapons pack, which includes golden weapons like “The Praecisione” .30 rifle, “The Exterminatore” shotgun and “The Silentium” pistol.

Shotgun Customization

Shotguns are meant for close combat. Their devastating power makes them reliable even if your aim is not. No wonder it doesn’t have an accuracy upgrade. There are six of the shotguns we know about so far: Barker 390, Lupara, Cornell 40, Elmwood 1925, Riot 550 and Barker 1500 Tactical. The in-game description says: “Shotguns send a message. The kind that says stay the fuck away from me if you like having a face.”

Handgun Customization

A true weapon for a true criminal. A lot of policemen and mobsters are using it. There are 10 handguns we know about so far: Alfredsson M419, Masterson Semi-Auto, Alfredsson M200, Elling 9MM, Masterson Phoenix, Blackburn FAF-33, Silenced Deacon .22, Silenced Masterson, Scoped Phoenix and Clipper .44. The description in the game reads: “Have a look – every handgun here is clean. And the rifling’s been “fixed” so that they’re untraceable”.

Probably the most popular firearms category. Has the highest fire rate, making it a must-have for a lot of players. We’ve seen 11 automatic weapons so far: Trench 1938, Alfredsson M833, Czech Ver. B-65, M1N8, Carter M33-A, Pasadena AR30, Binya, Automat SG, Silenced M1N8, Deutsche M11B and Stromer .223. Their in-game description says: “Accuracy’s for shit. But great for scattering groups, blind fire, or just putting a full clip in some asshole”.

Rifle Customization

The firearm of a true hunter. Long range scopes and powerful shots make it the perfect long distance weapon. The trailers have shown us 6 of them: Hartmann .30, Manitou Model 67, Mayweather .30, Mayweather M04A3, Viper 55 and Hawk 4540 Night Vision. The in-game description reads: “A few little somethings for range combat. The action’s been checked on all of these honies”.

Special Weapons

This are the guns with the greatest damage output. There are currently no known customization options for these weapons. There are three special weapons: Hartmann 7.62MM, Hartmann HLP and Hartmann At-40. Their in-game description says: “The literal big guns. You need to escalate the situation, then these have you covered”.
